Global provider of e-Procurement and Supply Management Solutions, Quadrem, has announced that it received the top award for the Best Public Sector Procurement Project at the Institute of Purchasing and Supply South Africa and Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply’s Annual Pan Africa Conference in Johannesburg.

Quadrem was the only Service Provider among the nominees for the Best Public Sector Procurement Project award.
The organisation entered its Centralised Supplier Database project, which was initiated on June 14, 2002 and has grown to be the largest, most comprehensive, national supplier database, with over 30 000 registered, verified and maintained supplier profiles. The database supports over 15 local and provincial government organisations and public and municipal entities across South Africa.

Catherine will be one of the speakers at the SmartProcurement 2009 Public Sector Supply Chain Summit being held in August. She will discuss the latest technological developments in public sector procurement and IT enablers for facilitating ‘Supplier Enablement’, and the building of lasting and sustainable supply-side relationships.
