Managing multiple project and contributing to strategic procurement. To manage Project Procurement in terms of selecting and executing group framework categories, strategising and procuring non framework categories and managing EPCM procurement resources.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide cost information for capital procurement estimates
- Work in BU Capital Project teams to develop project procurement strategies and sequencing (aligned to overall Group strategies)
- Execute capital project procurement plans
- Manage and report on project procurement performance
- Project procurement process management to Group best practice
- Strategic category development and execution of project specific categories
- Ensure optimum delivery time, cost and quality of procured good and services for BU projects
Skills:
Essential :
- Bachelor degree level, preferably in engineering and/or business administration or equivalent. Alternatively, a relevant combination of formal (procurement-related) qualifications and additional specialised studies.
Desirable :
- Advanced university qualifications, preferably in business administration, commence, engineering or other relevant discipline
Essential :
- Relevant professional experience (5 yrs) in Capital Procurement and Projects
- Experience of managing large disparate global teams
Desirable :
- Proven track record in capital intensive asset rich industries
