Tender report cites 'criminal conspiracy'

GAUTENG Premier Nomvula Mokonyane yesterday released a long-awaited report on tender irregularities which revealed allegations of a “criminal conspiracy” in the awarding of tenders.

The report contains allegations that former public transport, roads and works department head Sibusiso Buthelezi contravened tender regulations and that his friends benefited from government tenders.
