South African named Chief Operations Officer of global e-Procurement leader
Amsterdam & Dallas – Quadrem, a global provider of supply management solutions, has promoted Brandon Spear to Chief Operations Officer. In his new role, Spear will continue to oversee Quadrem’s operations for eight regional offices on six continents. Additionally, Spear will lead Quadrem’s research and development team as they build next-generation systems to enable customers to operate reliable, efficient supply chains.
Spear previously served as Quadrem’s Senior Vice President of Operations, which brought him to the US from Johannesburg in 2006. He joined Quadrem in 2002 as the Regional Vice President for Quadrem Africa, where he launched the business in that region and ultimately led it to become the largest supply management solutions provider in Africa.
“Spear’s leadership has enabled Quadrem to support its rapid new business growth and provide service that continues to win Quadrem new customers through referrals,” said Charles Jackson, Quadrem CEO. “His knowledge of Internet-based international commerce strengthens our vision and execution of value delivery to both buy-side and supply-side customers.”
