Due to growth, they are currently needing to employ a junior resource who is adept at multi-tasking and ‘not dropping the ball’. You will be responsible for escalating risk associated with stock at the different sites, for analyzing the forecasts and ensuring that the procurement team is being provided with the correct information with regards to stock amounts, dealing with insurance claims for those orders that did not arrive at their destination etc. This is not a procurement position per say, but requires the individual to work with the sourcing and buying departments, and therefore you should have a good understanding of procurement.
