We are therefore in search of quality candidates who are in possession of the following qualifications/skills and who are ambitious, self-managed and professional in their approach.
Education:
- B.Comm; B.Eng (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical)
- B.Sc (Quantity Surveying)
- B.Tech (Purchasing and Supply Chain)
- MBA; MBL
- MDP; PDM
OR
- Any other relevant degree
AND
- 3 - 5 years experience in supply chain management with a focus on strategic sourcing/procurement /commodity management.
- Experience gained in mining, resources, parastatals, NGO’s, construction, engineering, services industry.
- Implementation of ERP system is advantageous – SAP R/3; Oracle; JDEdwards
- People management or ability to manage a team is an important aspect of the role.
