Relevant degree plus direct experience in developing policies and frameworks in the procurement field. Direct experience in donor funded procurement, public/private partnerships and related enterprise and economic development work is essential.
Our client is a small, black owned consultancy, currently making a name for themselves within this sphere. With the advent of 2010 and the governments drive for service delivery, the company is geared for great things. The principal shareholder is very well known in this arena and has a number of ‘1st’ to his name.
Skills in demand include:
• Relevant degree essential
• PPP, Donor funded procurement work essential
• Strong consulting profile with the ability to operate in an unstructured, multi-faceted environment
• Knowledge of government and how individual departments work (although we are not looking for people from government departments)
• Desire to ‘make-it-happen’ against all odds
