CIPS awards - rewarding the development of a strategic imperative
In his opening address at the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) Procurement Awards dinner, Alec Erwin discussed the country’s need for greater skills development to bolster local organisational growth and to make South Africa an attractive business partner to the international business community.
The former minister congratulated the nominees for demonstrating an innovative resourcefulness to Procurement and Supply Chain Management that enable them to conduct business globally, while contracting benefits to the local community.
SmartProcurement was in attendance and congratulates the winners in the eight award categories.
