Benchmarking Analyst / Data Base administrator - Western Cape

Succesful benchmarkingl organization requires the services of a database administrator and analyst to create databases from information received from a variety of sources, covering a wide variety of services procured by large and medium sized SA organizations and incorporating key information into structured benchmarking reports.

The analyst will be responsible for:
• The planning, structure, set up and maintenance of the databases
• Analysis of data into meaningful statistics relevant to each service
• Extraction of data into professional presentation reports

Skills:
• an ability to analyse data from various sources in various formats and translate into a meaningful database
• the ability to structure a database in line with reporting requirements
• the ability to design profession reports that can be automatically populated with information and graphs from the database
• a proven record of being able to manage their own time and the full cycle of a project to agreed deadlines.
• very good command of the English language and communication skills,

Experience:
• advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word and working knowledge of Access.
• experience in database creation and management
• experience in professional report construction and presentation using Microsoft tools.
• Working experience in a corporate office environment with exposure to the procurement of services from suppliers.

Temperament:
• Must be able to work at a detailed level
• Thorough and accurate
• Ability to work in a small environment
• Self starter
• Tidy and presentable

The successful candidate must be prepared to work in the Wellington, W. Cape area.
